TrackMania Nations Forever is a version of TrackMania that is developed by the TrackMania developers, the same people who make the TrackMania PC. It features the same features as the PC version but also has the added bonus of being able to be installed on Windows Vista. The program itself is available in two flavours, with the second being the free version, which is compatible with the majority of Windows platforms.
The free version of the program is quite simple in its layout, but does have a few limitations. For instance, you can only change the layout in one part of the track at a time, and it also only allows you to play five levels of competition. The more advanced version of the program is designed to be able to be used on any Windows platform, and also allows you to change the layout of the track as often as you like. However, it has a few limitations as well, such as not being able to modify the levels in the game in any way. However, the free version does allow you to download the latest updates for the game, and is the version that many users prefer.
